Sagarmatha National Park

Solu Khumbu is now located in the Sagarmatha National Park. Sagarmatha is the name given to the top of Everest Nepal. This park was launched in July 1976.
The easiest way to reach the top is flying to Lukla airport and then followed on foot to the appropriate height. If you do not want to use the aircraft, you will be able to use the land route by bus to Jiri. Walk from Jiri, through Lukla to Namche Bazar at its center, the length can be 10 days. Some flights can be done to the pioneers in Tumlingtar airfield, Syangboche but this is limited, and Phaplu.
National Parks Office located at Mendalphu about five hours’ walk before Namche Bazar. There are museums of cultural and natural parks. In addition there is a small temple called gomba. One of the most famous is Tengboche Gomba because from there the top of Everest can be seen.
In May the celebrated Mani Rimdu Sherpa culture exhibit different colors. Kampong gomba Thame with an important place for the community Solu Khumbu, Mani Rimdu ceremony of this temple is very famous. Also in Khumjung only two hours drive from Namche Bazar is famous because there is gomba Dumje ceremony in June.
Sagarmatha National Park to protect the flora and fauna found there. It is forbidden to use even collect wood for fire. The travelers who are not staying at the inn should bring their own fuel for cooking. Drinks bottle, especially beer bottles is strictly prohibited thrown in there. All garbage must be planted or dumped in special places.
